          Typically, yes.

          In my neck of the woods, the usual swap price is around $20 and you get a short fill.
          I charge $16 and fill it to its proper capacity. This is for 20lb propane tanks.

              That is where I used to go when I worked over there. Now it's too far out of the way, and I haven't found anyone reasonably close. So I'm stuck with the short fill exchanges, unfortunately.

                            I never thought about how much my tanks are filled. There is a propane place in forney. I am going to just refill there from now on.

                              Propane guy told me last time I had my tanks filled that the industry cut back on the amount they fill them to 16 lbs VS 20lbs if your lucky. Stated that they needed more money and that was cheaper then making the bottles smaller. Its a little cheaper to fill them and they last a hell of a lot longer.
