Insuance is going to cover it, apparently, plus rental. I kinda hope that they find it in one peice, since she has taken pretty good care of it, and Ive done all the major maintinance on it. so we trust it. She doesnt have the money to buy something new, so finding the same car with the same maintinance records is going to be a tough deal.

My thoughts exactly, unless they found it in a car wash being detailed.

If it was mine or my wife's rides, we would happily skip to the nearest dealer with our insurance check hot off the printer ready to upgrade, and that is likey the only way that will happen. My sister just isnt in that same boat, unfortunatly. Having a reliable, relatively new paid off car is exactly what she needs right now.

that sucks man... car makers should add a remote controlled, anti-theft device that shoots their balls off when activated.

Good her insurance is covering the claim. Forward her my info if she would like a quote for insurance, won't hurt to check rates when she gets herself another vehicle.

Will do. Ive thought about it, but I really dislike allstate.

Ive been calling her Carless Sis for the last couple days. She thinks its funny, but doesnt get the humor that we do out of it.

Is this that attractive sister you have that somehow managed to luckily not look anything like you? I'm off for a few weeks and can give her a lift if necessary. I'm sure it wouldn't sound creepy at all if you proposed it to her.. And I'd make an awesome brother in law.
