yea that is the nicest car they make. i'll give the genesis coupe some props too for being fairly cheap, rwd, and turbo.

i still have a hard time with them. both my parents bought hyundais (2003 elantra and 2006 santa fe) because everyone said the quality was improving and the warranty etc. both cars had chronic issues from using cheaper parts (ex: plastic cable guides for power window cable mechanism = stainless steel will cut through them). i guess all cars develop issues with age and i know they have further improved since early 2000s.

They haven't changed the look of the Pilot in years upon years. It's a plain box.

True. I like the grille and interior on it. It's basic and not too rounded, unlike many of the new import SUVs

The only new car I'm excited about is the diesel Cruze.

Sad because they made some cool cars over the years. But yep, I think they'll exit North America soon.

My personal experience with Honda was really good. We no longer have it, but we had bought a 2005 Accord EX-V6 new w/every option. My wife drove it 194k miles with very few issues. I put on 3 sets of tires, 2 sets of brakes, 2 batteries, and did the 100k mile service on it (a buddy did it instead of the dealer). She was commuting a lot and was averaging 26mpg. I did change the oil every 5k, and put in filters as needed, but that was it. We still got $4800 trade about 18 months ago.

I guess everyone missed where Mitsubishi said that they were no longer going to produce the EVO and they were going to start focusing all their efforts on alternative-energy-source-powered cars.

Subaru is where it's at when it comes to Japanese cars now-a-days. Toyota and Honda are boring, although I like the looks of the 2013/2014 Accord.

Acura and Lexus are American car companies, and have some of the best offerings as far as money paid/car you get.

I like the juke but I drove a 6spd turbo manual version.
