Taurus SHO? I'm pretty much limited to the SUV market and above. I need something with decent ground clearance and a way to transport both dogs and camping/equipment with ease. I'm not doing hill climbs or anything, but the deer leases don't have much beyond a bulldozer blazed path at best or wide cattle trail at worst.

I'd love to have a performance based car, but I remember how limiting it was when I had the mustang and there were some things/places I could just not go. Never Again. (I know, have two cars - well, i'mnot having two car payments)

    Rule 1: Be rich.
    Rule 2: Don't be poor.

No Ford is worth more than $40k unless its a Boss 302 (sucks no 2014 model), GT500 or Raptor.

Wait about 3 years and buy one for low-mid 20s. If they are anything like the Flex Ecoboost, these things are going to haul some ass with a tune.

What's wrong with FWD? That's a good thing for a woman

You must not have to tow anything heavy....

To be fair, new truck prices across all makes are really inflated, IMO.

Define heavy. More than what an ecoboost with a tow package costs after rebates/incentives/etc?

My wife has been looking at these for a little while but we haven't driven one yet. It's pretty easy to find them for low 30s (before ttl) for a XLT (18s, leather, etc)

Get an ecoboost Sport model. It'll outrun a foxbody unless it has $5k in mods.

No need to wait really. My friend got his wife a well equipped 12 model with 36k miles for $28k. XLT with leather, back up, 20's etc. Think it sticked for $42k.

What kind of power are people getting from the ecoboost 2.0L with tunes and other mods?
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.
