          I love my ford stock, but only picked up 20 of them. Now my GM and AIG stock? Shot to hell, though I made some good picks. CPOW right now is doing fairly well

                I don't know what they yield now a days but my grandparents used to buy them for their grandkids.

                My grandparents used to buy us $25 and $50 bonds. They continued to do this until I was around 10 or 12. By the time I hit 16 I cashed a few from my earlier years and they were just then starting to mature ie my grandparents bought a $25 bond and after its maturity date I got $50.
