  • wood fired pizzas?

    Anyone know of a place to get some good wood fired pizza? Addison/Garland/Dallas/Plano area preferred.

    red brick used to be good but most went away even though google shows they are still available

      Fireside Pies. Rocco's in FTW.


      There's a lot more that use coal fired ovens. Coal Vines, for instance. The taste difference between wood fired and coal fired is not noticeable to most.

          Thanks man! Rocco's is too far of a drive for me as we are going for drinks later, but I will look at Fireside pies.

                            If you guys are gonna hit Fireside, hit the one on Inwood. My little brother works there. Also, their wild mushroom pie is back on the menu right now.

                              Cane Russo in ellum (across the street from twisted root) has great wood fired.

                              Grimaldis in Uptown is my favorite tho
