As for the Texas Giant, that thing is pretty rickety, I'm not shocked that someone got killed on it. Rode it once and that is plenty for me, I would rather ride Titan.
Is the Judge Roy Scream still around? That fucker felt like you were riding on a washboard, and then when you cross under the track you feel like you are going to get decapitated.

Unfortunately. Get rid of one of the better rides (Flashback) to make room for some shitty swing, yet leave the shittiest ride in the park still standing. Guess now I see why they're in trouble.
How do we forget ourselves? How do we forget our minds?

Nothing against this lady but I want that thing clicking twice. The rules need to be changed for safety. RIP

It was my first time to ride it since they rebuilt it. I was wondering how the +90 degree turns would feel, but there was no feeling like I was going to fall out of my seat. I don't see how she fell.

I would pay a premium to not sit next to someone who can't fit in the confines of their seat. I'd also pay a premium to not be on a plane with children.

I know I'll catch heat for this, but airfare should be based on a person's weight. At the very least, over a certain weight they should be charged for 2 seats. It really is an inconvenience to the people sitting on either side of them.

That was/is part of it's charm. That "Oh shit we're going to die" rush.

I drive through south Dallas with windows down and doors unlocked for the same thrill.

I've been lucky in all of my travels to never have been placed next to an extreme fatty! I have sat next to CEOs, NFL players, and Miss Colorado 2008 though....

I saw a fat woman get stuck in a car on Flashback years ago. They had to disassemble part of it to pry her lard ass out.

me and my daughter went out there today

They were being VERY STRICT on a few different coasters with large riders. If the restraint only clicked once or twice then they were asked to get off. I watched one 18-20year old guy who was probably 300-350lbs not ride and then a large woman who forced herself into a seat so the restraint would click more then once

Sorry for the loss, but based on the photo posted of the lady in the accident, my guess is that her Center of Gravity was far too high to be on a ride of that nature/performance supported/restrained by only a lap bar.

Kinda' like the U-tube fat guy riding the moped jumping the small hill and endo-ing over the handle bars... too much weight + positioned too high + high speed maneuvers = disaster waiting to happen.

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.
