It was insured but only liability coverage. I'm not sure if the property owner of the business park's insurance would cover but I'm assuming probably not.

It looks like a flat bed tow truck hauled it off. You can definitely see dually tire marks about a truck length away from where it was parked and tire marks from the truck driving off.

Katrina and I drove up and down in the direction it looked like they went and drove through neighborhoods and looked around. It's pretty ghetto over there but didn't notice anything that looked like a huge old car under a cover or anything.

There was a flatbed tow truck just around the corner parked at a house with a bunch of wheels, tires, and other cars all around. I called the phone number on the back of the truck and asked if he had towed an Impala last night. He was like "oh are you so-and-so?" (some Hispanic name) Then asked if I spoke Spanish, and after that he was like "No, haven't towed anything" Seemed kinda shady to me

We also hit up every store front and business up and down the road to see if anyone had cameras. Shockingly pretty much no one had any type of surveillance system. I was able to find 3 places that did have a camera. They were all closed but I've got calls into them and should hear back today something.

The last thing we were hoping was maybe traffic cameras but the only ones on that road are a red light camera and it only records if the light was run, but maybe the assholes were in a hurry and it caught something.

Fucking sucks because my dad was worried about it parked there recently I guess because there is a lot of construction going on just on the other side of our parking lot and lots of crews and workers can see it from where they are working...and back on the 4th I guess my dad noticed someone had looked under the hood because it wasn't closed all the way like it is supposed to. Last week my dad offered to have it towed here to our house but my plan was to rent a Uhaul trailer this weekend and go pick it up. That shit always fuckin happens

the downside is that the towtruck you found might have done it, but it might not.

Ive called tow companies from dfw to pick up cars in Austin/San Antonio to be picked up at houses, buisnesses and repair shops to be dropped off at another place and never had anyone question anything.

          Well that sucks, Marcus.

Oh and the red light cameras are running all the time. Ask me how I know.
Call them up and they will have the info. I also know that the tow truck company was probably local and they have to all be registered with the city of Denton, do a search and go to each of their place of business'...'H'

Trust your gut and report this info to the PD. Any leads will help, especially if they have been reported before.

Sucks, hope you get it back.

When I was shopping for insurance on my Torino, the policy they offered was fucken re-dick-you-less. They have so many outs written into it, they would never have to pay a claim! I went with All State. Pretty cheap, coverage for wrecks, stolen and weatehr dmagae included. And I could drive the fucker every day if I wanted, not like a lot of those others where you can drive to car shows only, or 200 miles a fricken year.

Anyways, damn shitty some dirtbag stole it. Hope you find it, and in one piece!

I read a report about insurance companies renigging on paying claims and Fred Layoa Insurance was by far the worst.
