Youll need a shorter oil pan for that chassis like the holley one. Otherwise no ground clearance

for about 500 you can get a bad ass stand alone harness from PSI http://psiconversion.com/
Super clean harness and it's longer than normal on the computer end so you can tuck the computer inside the car under the dash
I've used this harness personally on my GTO and on my dad's 60 Chevy Sedan Delivery

Haha. I actually happen to be going down to Joshua to pick up an '06 cummins in the morning!

I just recently recalled someone modifying those harnesses, because an ls swap in the BAB is starting to sound appealing.

Turbo I'll look into getting that stand alone harness.

No it is not gold it is a white extended cab.

crapstang what is the guys name and what is pretty cheap? all of the stand alone harnesses i have looked at are around $1200. That is not cheap imo, but then again i am not a dfwm baller like most of you guys...
No problem, check out bp-automotive.com for a harness. You can get them as cheap as $400 depending on how many bells and whistles you want. And their quality is second to none! Lmk if you have any questions. I just put an ls1 in my c10 and make it to where everything works like factory.

Right on man thanks, I will definitely keep you in mind when it comes time to put it in.

My dad had a c10 a few years back, it was the cleanest 86' swb I've seen to date. It was light blue and grey, lowered a couple inches all around, and had the baddest fucking BB502 in it. I watched that truck lift it's front tires in the grass on street tires. Gosh I miss that truck!

didn't work on the 81 t/a we did, I don't think we had sliders..its been a while, but that MIGHT change the outcome

The swap in this Camaro should be the exact same as you did on that 81'. Are you able to give me specs on what block mounts and headers to run?
