5.3l/4l60e, what else do I need?

I came a cross this deal a couple weeks ago and decided today to pull the trigger. It's a 5.3l/4l60e with 120k miles from a 04' silverado for $300, question is what else do I need to grab while I'm there? Motor runs and trans seems to shift fine.

I am getting this for my 80' z28 project and yes it is slow...it will be slower once I put this ls motor in I know.

post pics of what you need/what you got.. thats a good deal, i need a few of the front acessories for mine, a harness/pcm and throttlbody. if you need one i have a Lq4 (dbw) TB that i need to sell of trade for a DBC TB. im considering going carb on this old truck. it has no AC, no power steering, and it seems like it'd just be easier to get it all going this way.

truck manifolds will not work. how complete is the set up. i'd like to see just what you have. i also have a few extra set of injectors, and some random stuff. if the truck acc. wont work for you i will buy them.

I've got both harnesses and the gas pedal. Will I need the drive shaft or anything like that?

Get the fuel tank with the E85 sensor if it has it...

It's complete as the day it rolled off the factory. I'm buying it off of an old timer who let his grandson drive his truck to school and the boy caught the guard rail with the pass side tire.

yep. but if you use dirty dingo slider mounts, you may be able to adjust the motor to fit the stock drive shaft.. you may want to set it further back and have a show cut it down though, depending on what you do with the car. it could "work" better, as far as handling.

You can use the factory harness and computer set up. There is a guy that modifies them to be clean standalones for pretty cheap.

get the engine, trans, wiring harness, accessories, pedal, tac module, computer, any and all sensors, etc. basically anything that is somehow hooked to the engine grab it. If you end up not needing it then so be it.

crapstang what is the guys name and what is pretty cheap? all of the stand alone harnesses i have looked at are around $1200. That is not cheap imo, but then again i am not a dfwm baller like most of you guys...
