Anyone rented a home depot truck?

Do you have to use it strictly for purchases you bought there or can I borrow it empty? I need to move my couches to my new place on the 20th.

You can rent them empty. They don't care.

I've rented both...I would do a U-Haul truck.

Uhaul charges per mile + you have to purchase insurance. Neither with the hd truck iirc

I'd probably be putting close to 75 miles round trip, getting the uhaul sounds expensive if that's the case. I think the hd truck can be rented for $69 for a full day.

You don't have to purchase their insurance they just encourage it, it's only like $5-$10 extra anyway. I rented a truck from the Grapevine location back in June and didn't have to pay for their insurance.
