Checked out clear. Thanks for the info. I've been doing some research and it seems like a lot of the 07'-09' Silverado's with the 5.3l with AFM (active fuel management) burn serious amounts of oil. Guess it's a crapshoot. The truck didn't seem to tick or smoke on start-up. Ran and shifted fine.Originally posted by crapstang View PostComment
