What age to have "THE" talk about girls to your son?

But I would like to answer the questions he is afraid to ask. My son is still fairly innocent. But that will change fast in the next couple of years. He already has one girl trying to talk him into french kissing. (lol) Maybe he has done it already, who knows. I figure at some point and time I will throw him a Penthouse and let the pictures explain the obvious. That is how I learned, by finding magazines on the side of roads while riding my bicycle. Same here. I didn't really get a talk from mine until after I broke up with my first my mom had sat down with me her and her step mom and my mom already knew. Her step mom had no idea. My mom was no dumb ass. A very wise woman RIP. She told me it takes 2 to tangle so both parties should be respondable. And on another note I had an older brother and sister so I heard alot of shit when I was younger. I learned to be careful.

My mom and stepdad talked to me about it when I was about nine. I'd already found my stepdad's Playboy stash so I didn't have a lot of questions.

In fact he made me throw them away. It didn't take a rocket surgeon to figure out what the fifty pound trash bag was full of. I dutifully took them to the alley like I was told to do. I never got the talk. My real dad never had the talk with me and my step dad assumed i already knew. But I found out with my first girlfriend when i was 14. We did everything and experimented with everything. Now that i think back I was really young. Looking at 14 year olds now makes me think how oblivious their parents might be. Kids are learning really fast these days.

I raised 2 girls, and now the youngest is 21 (damn!). We had "the talk", when they were about 13. I did it myself without the wife involved. Who else would know more about teenage boys? I minced no words (and still don't) when telling them about the "real world". I used all the tricks...fear, disgust, shock, and frankness. It stuck with them, and they still thank me for it from time to time.
