Low speed driveability is so bad (hunting idle, misfires, throwing codes, etc.) that the car is basically not driveable. At the track, it's a damn screamer, unfortunately, I don't live at the track and would like to be able to enjoy cruising the car around again.

My s/c 11' drove fine none of those issuse's I would call up there and tell them to fix it!

Tried that Jeremy. Shit, they've had it back 3 times just for tuning. I just want it to idle smoothly and not misfire, doesn't seem like I'm asking too much, but so far, it hasn't been fixed.

Small claims court would cost you $65 (I think), For them, a day out of work, plus attorneys, etc would cost far more, then that, and if they really didnt deliver on their end of the agreement, then they will probably be found to fork over a fair amount of the money you paid them. Im not saying go to small claims court, but a threat might light a fire under their ass.

Stop taking it to them, you'll be far far ahead of the game by finding someone that can tune it right the first time. You don't want them to put a shitty tune on it that burns a piston or something.

PM DVilleGt. He tuned my GTO before I got rid of it and and it ran awesome

Quick search on his previous threads turned up HPP.

They need to make it right. I'd be pissed too if I paid a lot of money for a blower set-up that didn't run right.

My feeling on the whole deal is they are a great shop, and have turned out some pretty bad ass cars over the years. What I've seen directly in the past was one of the major contributing factors to going with them this time around.

Brad is one of the best front room guys in the business, always kept me informed on where they were with the build.

Everyone I've met out in the shop has been great too, seem like they all know what they're doing and like doing it.

Even Manny has been very cool to me, no issues, explained what we needed to do, what we shouldn't do, etc.

The only issue is the tune. If it was a full time race car, I could live with it just the way it is. Shit, 10.8x's at 130 right out of the box? What's not to love about that? Unfortunately, it's a street car first, and race car second, and I need to be able to drive it on the street, to work, to the track, to the damn grocery store if needed. As it is right now, that isn't happening.

I also feel that this is an unfinished job, and as such, I think I deserve a little consideration on getting the car into the shop and getting it finished, before being told they don't have time for me right now. I help up my end of the bargain, it would be nice if they would do the same.

Hpp wouldn't look at my car for a tune unless I left a cash deposit that covered a new block/rebuild with them, otherwise they didn't have the room. I found someone for $250 that did exactly what I needed in less than 3 hours. Just my experience.

I wasn't impressed at all with their quality of work after my ex wife spent about 10 grand on a motor build with them. Engine looked like whoever worked on it dipped their hands in oil first, cold air kit left just hanging, not even bolted down, 1 week job stretched to a month, leaving the shop the entire gauge cluster lit up with MILs like a Christmas tree, someone elses car battery left in the trunk, engine not properly grounded, ended up having to go elsewhere to get it fixed also. I really don't care what they accomplish on the track if they can't translate it to putting customers cars together right. You're only as good as your lowest customer service experience.

                              Obligatory Gearheads > HPP post.

                              Seriously go to Gearheads though.
