Nothing on the 4th. My son comes in from South Korea for his mid tour leave on the 3rd. This will be his first time home since April 2012 so we are leaving on the 5th to head to Galveston for a few days to go fishing.

The United States failed to put on a show at Niagara Falls. Luckily for us the Canadians put on their own show. Not very high and not very long. They shot from the banks of the river at the end of the falls and the show only lasted 15 minutes. Not bad though to have the show exploding a little higher than our heads. Having the Falls as a back drop sealed it though. Summed up: America was a let down, the Canadians saved the night.

I worked my ass off up at the farm, then we went to see fireworks at Firelake Casino. Stopped on the way back, picked up a ton of fireworks, and shot them off when we got back to the house. First time either of the kids got to do them at home. They had a blast.
