Apple Pie "Moonshine"

Embraced my inner redneck and put together my first batch using PGA, made it "ala mode".


1 gallon apple juice
1 gallon apple cider
8 cinnamon sticks
1 cup white sugar
2 cups brown sugar
Bring above to a boil, remove from heat and allow to cool.
Add 1 litter of PGA (Everclear 190 proof) or shine (if you are lucky enough to get your hands on some)
Add a fifth vanilla vodka

Package off in Mason jars (place 1 cinnamon stick per jar) and stick in the fridge for a week or so.
Smooth as hell, sneaky shit! Enjoy

It will sneak up on you, and since its all the rage now due to the tv show watch who you give it too.

It's tasty, but certainly won't replace the above.

I don't think what he did really counts as actual moonshine since he didn't distill anything. All he did was basically make spiked apple-cinnamon punch.

Real shine isn't too sweet & burns the first couple sips then is sneaky as fuck & will knock you on your ass in a hurry.
