Vacation idea, help needed

I pulled this thread up while planning a mexico trip in October.

I ended up canceling my plans when I found out we were going to be swamped with work. They go nuts when I'm not here when it's busy. So rather than sit there and argue to get the week off I decided to not go. Turns out we never got busy as expected, the whole week of my birthday I spent it trying not to think about it. I shouldve fucking taken the damn week off.

Don't sweat it. There's always the next birthday. I thought about going in December but it wouldn't be the same.

Oct 26 - Nov 03 here. Still not set on resort but it will be in that area. If my wife can get more time off, we are going to try for the 22nd till the 03rd.

ETA: just confirmed we are going to take Oct 24 - Nov 02. Looking at staying at Xcaret or further south in Bahia.
