Its a little sad to think the top of the line car is going backwards. You can buy a gt500 and make 700rw for not much extra money. You are going to have a hard time getting that 500 n/a car to 700 without engine building/power adders.

True but if they sell it 20-25k cheaper then I think you have enough to build it better then a gt500

LOL! Yeah, sure, they're going down in price.

The only thing I think is going down will be weight, slightly. If these cars can get smaller and shed 3-400lbs they will really be something.

I very seriously doubt the SVT will cost the same as a GT. Don't get me wrong, I would be all over that shit with the quickness, but I don't see it happening.

If they're getting 444 out of the boss, you would think they could find some power with DI on the 5.0. Of course mods are probably going to cost some $$$ when you have to upgrade the HPFP.

The real money will come into play when you pay for a tune. Smaller window of adjustment with DI.

What the fuck're you talking about?! Current GT500: 60k. -25K=35k. So the Cobra is going to cost the same price as a premium GT? Is this like a foxbody plus 5k argument?

Current gt500's are going for 70kplus. So maybe not 25k but I could see 17k-20k cheaper which would put them 50k or more.

I also remember some rumors of a EcoBoost V-8 a year or so ago for the 2015.
