I thought I read the base engine is the 3.7 v-6 followed by the v-6 Ecoboost, 5.0 and then something around 5.8 n/a with 500hp, the latter being a SVT Cobra, so no more Shelby moniker.Originally posted by SilverbackLook all you want, she can't find anyone else who treats her as bad as I do, and I keep her self esteem so low, she wouldn't think twice about going anywhere else.

Hmmm, so that would explain the rumors of the 4-pot ecoboost, which I'm assuming would be the 2.0 that's in the Fusion that I have driven and was very impressed. I could see this motor being used effectively in the new Stang. It would need a bump in performance, not much but a 300hp 2.0 Ecoboost would be nice. That would mean that the v-6 would need to be bumped. I don't see how a they would compete with similar numbers and gas mileage.Originally posted by SilverbackLook all you want, she can't find anyone else who treats her as bad as I do, and I keep her self esteem so low, she wouldn't think twice about going anywhere else.
