Too bad it's not closer. Those door panels would have to get tossed QUICKLY but appears to be a great deal at that price.

I don't know about that since his post claims the car gets 30 mpg.

That looks to be a solid starter car for the price

I recondition headlights on most cars for $50.00. If interested shoot me a pm.

30 mpg? He must be towing it for 20 of those miles. No over-drive and probably something like a 2.75 gear in that thing. Being from up north all those years (and the pans already replaced), I'm thinking the rust is what's holding it together. LOL!

It's a piece of shit but worth the price.

yeah, I'm not down with fixing decayed metal...

...they arent pretty but they do the job and are solid. i will be honest the rear shackle mounts could use being replaced. i did drive this all last summer and didnt have any issues, but i would recomend welding in some c channel steel to replace and stiffen it up...
that pretty much means its on the edge of road worthy in yankee talk.

I didn't read the ad before I posted. After reading it, it would be an iffy sight unseen purchase to have shipped down here. IF you could get him to take a cashier's check. For the price though it seems like a decent start.

Ohio uses lots of salt in the icy roads. Expect that car to be a cancer patient if someone already pop riveted in some sheet metal floor pan. And at least he's taking you about the rotted shackle mounts. would not buy without looking at in person. Unless of course its always kept in for the winters
