  • Another CL ad.

    Here's the ad.
    http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/bar/2161889688.html

This idiot is selling a radio for almost $400. It's not worth $50. The sad thing is, do a search for double din on CL
    http://dallas.craigslist.org/search/...xAsk=&hasPic=1
and look at the nice radios you can get for less than $400. I just hope nobody buys that radio thinking they are getting a deal.

I didn't read the whole ad after I saw the pic that was from ~1999 with the wired remote that clips to the turn signal lever

I have a sweet collection of betamax tapes I'll trade him.

I have a few lazer discs laying around somewhere. Wonder if I could sell them at Traders Village? Those things would look sweet hanging from a rearview mirror of a 97 Chevy.

That is hilarious. It's like a Craigslist ad from 16 years ago.

Here's the problem with Sony's proprietary technologies. MD, DAT, SACD (to name a few) were all superior to anything else available on the market. DAT ended up being accepted in the recording industry for a while, but MD never really grew legs. I still listen to my SACDs from time to time and they sound amazing. Blu-ray could've failed to, but they actually learned from their mistakes and let other companies build players.

I think the most use MD ever got was in the movie Strange Days!

It amazes me that the seller gets offended when you give them a real world offer. Take it to a dealership and see what they offer.
