We run our 6.0 3/4 ton chevy/GMC work trucks to 180-200k with minimal issues and these are used and abused oilfield trucks from the day they roll off the lot. So if the price is right I wouldn't worry too much about anything with 120k or less, depending on how long you plan to keep and drive it.

I'm looking for a good deal on a extended, quad cab. Either way, 2wd or 4wd, the truck will be lowered.

Good thread, as I'm in the market myself. Chevy/GMC/F-150 Crew Cab with no center console. I was thinking $20K and haggling down. Anybody know what's the norm on going down on trucks?"Self-government won't work without self-discipline." - Paul Harvey

according to commercials I would pay 19k for an ecsb truck and 24k for the king cab. These would be 2x4 models
my dad got an stx with a v8 but that was a few years agoLast edited by 4king; 06-19-2013, 02:39 PM.

Ive owned it for the past 4-5 months, since then I have cleaned the fuel system, rebuilt the air pack, cleaned the injectors, replaced every filter on the truck and it has two brand new optima yellow top batteries and have been relocated in the bed.
The truck needs work on the electrical system, I have a brand new 3 lever switch that will come with it. IMO, id buy a new front wire harness and be done with it ($200 from surplus stores)
The truck fires up insanely great, and stops like a champ. I have driven it around town and people literally stop and just stare at you haha
It is street legal. Texas Blue title and insured.
Top speed 45-50 mph
I have a ton of pics, im located in Baytown, text me anytime 281-660-0666
$10, 000 OBO (very open on offers)
