super single tires

    Keep tires aired up and tires tend not to explode. We don't use super singles but IMO they reduce weight and create more tire contact to the road. I would assume they do well in the rain. Gemini runs the on their fuel trucks we do not

        Poor traction in inclement weather, with SS tires, was a common complaint from some of the drivers I worked with.

              There supposed to have less rotating mass so better fuel mileage. They can be a pita to swap. The manufactures claim that overall costs are less, last longer and better mpg. Iv wrenched on a lot of trucks and the consensus is that the only real benefit is that they look cooler.
