My 94 Splash is reg cab and short bed. 2.3 and 5 speed. I have to TRY to get 20 mpg and I am meticulous about maintenance. It only has 85 k on it. I hoped it would get better when I bought it. I also had a 97 Nissan reg cab short bed with a 2.2 and 5 speed. It also would squeak out 19 or 20 mpg. They both could be outrun by a snail dragging an anchor.

Gotta factor in the expense of new tires on the Jeep, not having to rent a trailer/truck every other weekend or buy a trailer and wiring the Jeep for lighting, having a backup vehicle incase I need to do work on the Jeep, etc. I had to swap the radiator and water pump in the Jeep a couple weeks back and having to frantically make it work over a weekend due to incorrect parts showing up was not fun. Much rather have a safety net. I want a DD to make it easier to work on the Jeep and it be a little less stressful, but I want something with utility and better MPG as well.

Wife keeps saying get a full-size with 4doors. With that kinda fuel consumption it be a weekend truck only lol. Waste if ya ask me. I just want a reg cab truck to just haul Shit if I need it and drive my Honda daily.

If I had it my way I'd buy a clean fox and trade my Honda for a 4 cylinder pickup and daily the pickup.

I saw a s10 blazer posted in the member rides that's dropped and that got me wanting one. But the nice ones want like 4 to 5 k.
Non tapatalk Sig so the butt hurt va-JJs can stop crying about not being able to turn it off.

My 93 4.0 5spd ranger would average 23-24 on the way to/from lubbock multiple times. It made great torque and was equipped with an 8.8 and some gears. It is the "Splash" edition. Lol
