Ive towed about 6500 lbs with a '13 5.0 crew cab and '13 ecoboost crew cab and surprisingly I loved the ecoboost and how well it did.

Since Chrysler is now an Italian company, I do like their Ram 4x4's.

What? Both my 07 and 13 they came off the price by over $8k both times. I have never had a GMC but I am sure the right dealership will.

I'd buy an F-150. Check out Grapevine Ford.

A nicely equipped '13 Ram can be had at that price, that would be my recomendation.

I got 12k off on my 2013 fx2. Out the door was around 26k... You can get an FX4 or an xlt 4x4 for around 30k. This is with the 5.0. To me the Eco boost is not worth the extra money.
                  Eco 380/420
                  5.0 360/380

With the problems the Eco has had, I'm glad I got the 5.0 and I get the same or better gas mileage than what people are getting with the Eco.

why are using a big chunk of credit on a brand new job?

Bad idea - you don't think the drilling side is pretty volatile?

Yeah I know they have some great incentives on the 13s with the new model about to hit the lots...

The gas mileage on the Ram is still it's downfall.....IMO.
