Years ago I went to Trophy Nissan to look at a Maxima.

The salesman would not show me a Maxima, but directed me into the salesfloor.

Once in his office, he wanted me to fill out a credit application so he could run my credit before he'd show me any car.

I was pissed and told him I was there to look at a car, not give out all my personal info before I decided to buy a car. He got the "manager" who told me that they have several people that want a Maxima, but can only afford a Sentra. I told him I knew exactly what I could afford, and I could buy anything I wanted.

I left and went directly to a Honda dealer and bought a brand new Accord. I drove the car back to Trophy and met with the general manager and told him exactly how I was treated. I then showed him my new Accord and told him I would go out of my way to tell everyone I knew how Trophy Nissan did business.

Ya know, I bought a used Nissan awhile ago and the used dealer was great. However, on the off times I spoke to their new sales reps - it was an ass whoop trying to just get basic information. I bought a Titan and figured I'd look at the Armadas for the wife - same parts and such...easy to keep up on for me...etc.

F' that. I'm just going to buy Fords from now on (maybe Hondas or Toyotas) and call it the day.

I just call the Internet sales people, walk in, sign papers and leave. 20 minute process the last 3 cars I've bought.

I had a similar issue at Five Star in NRH. Went there a few months ago to get behind the wheel of the 5.0 - salesman started telling me about the fucking SYNC crap and giving me the typical "girly" sales pitch. I told him I couldn't care less about the stereo or the leather interior and I wanted more hp.

he never even offered to unlock any cars to let me get in it. Much less test drive it. I got frustrated and left. I was ready to buy.

I remember what he looks like, yes. Funny thing is, he kept complimenting my car (08 GT) and asking why I would want a new one since mine is so "fly". I straight up said because i want more POWER!!!!!!!!!! and still no offer to open one.

I don't work there anymore. Salesman went through that place like cattle at a slaughterhouse, so I doubt I knew him anyways.

I live right across the street and have never set foot in that dump. I used to laugh when it was Rodeo Ford and I would drive by and all the salesmen would be standing out front waiting for the next mark to pull up.
