Did a search and found some old threads so I was wondering if anyone has recently hired some movers to help them move? This would be for a 4 bed room house from Seagoville to Richardson.....

Two men and a truck moved our stuff in storage from Amarillo to Fort Worth. They did a great job and were very professional.

Coleman America/Allied Moving moved our house contents from Corpus Christi to Fort Worth. They damaged every single piece of furniture we had. Yes every single piece. They tore the couch in 8 places, put my gas weed eater on to of the couch and bedding (which they did not wrap). They delivered out chest of drawers over a month later after finding it in the back of a truck. The move ended up being free but we had to replace everything.

I worked for a moving company when I was younger & it all depends. Will is ALL be boxed up & packed? This matter when it come to pricing a job. If its packed & up & doesn't need to be packed up. Prolly $2000 to $2500 I imagine on the cheap.

We just got quoted $89 an hour, they send 3 guys for packing and loan/unload

That's not cheap, that's smart! Everything will most likely be packed....

Mine was 345$ from AB moving

They did a great job for the money

I had them move all the big stuff and boxes. Ended up being 5.5hrs so it was better than the 89/hr

I just hired a few black friends. Both times I has one of the larger U-Haul trucks and paid 3 guys $300 to move everything. They loaded and unloaded a 3 bedroom house in about 2 hours time.
