Cops are people, and people make mistakes. If someone makes an honest mistake that is a violation, then it can be corrected. If someone makes a willful malicious act of misconduct, then they need to be disciplined to the extent of the act.

I don't think you understand that you need to be in a position of equal or greater footing to mediate peace, as well as own up to your actions that started things off in the first place. We both know neither of those scenarios are ever going to happen. And before you come back with more idiotic bullshit, a person in that position wouldn't be trying to enlist moderators and begging them to take action for them or crying like a little bitch with a skinned knee in the VIP forum. I'm sure I'm going out on a limb here but....Departments are set up like the military, organizationally. We have several employees that were prior military. I guess that's why we are broken up into "squads". We "patrol" areas. And yes, the "brass" address us as "troops". Oh and our ranks share military nomenclature.

I don't think anyone, me for sure, believe we are the military. I just think it was easy for departments to adopt the same structure as the existing military.
