Concert Tickets WTF?

The only shows I go to these days are for smaller local or regional acts. I am sick of all the resellers buying up all the tickets to the larger shows and if you are able to buy directly from the promoter the fees are outrageous.

I used AXS.com for Darious Rucker this past sunday. It was the best deal I could find, and had a neat feature. You are able to reserve the seats next to you if more people are going. The you're able to email them a link directly to those seats. That way nobody has to front the money for seats then get stuck with them if they back out.

I saw a story the other day that said the artists themselves were having blocks of tickets bought on their behalf (or their fan club's behalf) so they could put them on ticket reseller sites to double their money. Sorry motherfuckers.

I feel your pain. I paid $106 apiece for nosebleed seats to see Fleetwood Mac. Floor seats were in the $500 range.
