He charges $250 for a lower, and it's $500 to ship it both ways insured.
My bad just remember you mentioned acquiring one. USPS didn't charge me that much for a Thompson to go insured to Philly.

Maybe I need to look into USPS, UPS is $1.25 for every $100 over $100, so comes out to $200 one way + shipping. And I personally do not like that I'm sending a brand new in the white receiver that requires no prep work and he's charging me $250 simply because it's NFA, and he charges $50 for semi auto in the white receivers. I don't like arbitrary fees.

But he's doing solution heating, agitation, all kinds of shit I would have to set up to anodize a single part. Honestly, I'll see if I can find someone who can do Type II or Type III instead of having to do all of that. If I was anodizing 10 or 20 lowers I would do this though.

You're the second person that's told me that. I hope they will, I will give them a call.

I wanted to learn how to anodize aluminum but the only dyes I could get a hold of on short notice were RIT dyes. To anodize I needed a tank of sulfuric acid / water mixed. With my setup I was using a 5 gallon bucket with a 14:1 water to sulfuric acid ratio. Sulfuric […]
