Shooting reported at Fort Sam Houston

At least one person was injured Monday after a person fired shots at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston.
The post was placed on lockdown status after the shooting, but few other details were available. Scanner traffic indicates that one person is in custody.
One person on the post said the lockdown began around 3 p.m., but had no other information about the incident.
Joint Base San Antonio issued a brief press release at 3:37 p.m. A spokesman, Oscar Balladares, could not be reached.
The release said that about 2:50 p.m., “individual fired shots” on the post, home to around 32,000 military and civilian workers, as well as military training students.
The post is home to a major hospital, the San Antonio Military Medical Center, joint enlisted medical training as well as housing and rehabilitation facilities for wounded troops.

well the military is known for assaulting women and them having no rights, so this does not surprise me.

If it happened on a military installation it essentially happened in a gun free zone. Go figure. Generally the only people carrying weapons are the guys in patrol cars and the guys on the gate. There's generally not that many of them to go around. If you go on a military post and start shooting you're going to have some time before anyone shows up unless a patrol unit is right by that location.

You're mistaken. When military women are promiscuous then realize that their coworkers have labeled them whores they are quick to claim rape/sexual harassment. It now appears that sexual assault is an epidemic in the military when in all reality it is nothing but some women's poor moral values and daddy issues which are perpetuating a myth....
