To be clear, I think he can shove his race card bit up his ass. However, the entire situation is bullshit.

I think he has a legitimate complaint on the race bit. Most officers try their hardest to prove someone isn't drunk that they have stopped, because a dwi here in texas is a mother. I don't know what it entails there, but here it is a lot of work, only to go to court and it get dropped ect. So I think he may have a case on his race card, just sad these days we still have people like that. By what I read it looked like they are out to get the old man, sad.
