      WTF
      THIS.

And FUCK you chickenshit cops and firemen that always BRAG about your fucking MILITARY experience, that you would do what ever up to help your fellow soldier, that you would be ready to DIE for your fellow soldier, now talking about not letting this FATHER DIE for his child. FUCK YOU.

If there is ONE thing that a parent should be allowed to do is DIE for their child. I would do it in a second with giving it a thought, my wife, my future widow, would fully understand WHY, just as I would fully understand WHY she did it.

Please tell me where I was "bragging" about my experience? All I'm saying is without knowing anymore details that kid could have been gone long before the father got there. You are acting like the kids in the window yelling for help.

I dunno, are you one of the regulars on here that are a fireman (firewoman?) or a cop that continually mentions their previous military career and how it pertains to their current fireman/paramedic/policeman career? If not, you get a pass, if so, go fuck yourself.

It seems obvious to me they were ignoring the baby inside. The cops were not inside trying to save it, and they tazed the father that tried to. They are 100% responsible for the child's death and should receive the death penalty. I am so fucking tired of cops killing innocents and getting away with it.

The article is shit. The line about his adrenalin and will making it likely that he would be able to save the baby is just absurd. I bet if there was any chance at all they wouldn't have to hold the dad back because they would already be in there trying to get the baby out. I mean, we just don't know the condition of the fire. It could have been instant suicide for him (or anyone) to go in there, in which case they have to stop him. I'm not sure they should have tased him. All I'm saying is we don't have all the info, and you're gullible if you let that one article make you so certain that this is a big FTP moment.

I will not go that far, but for fucks sake, if a parent is willing to give his life just for the slim chance that he/she can save their chance, why stop it?

Is there is ANYTHING else in this life truly worth dying for?

This. You don't electrocute a man for trying to save his child or you may find a pissed off man who blames police for killing his child and decides to extract a payment for that.

Negetive, never been in military. But without more info I would like it believe efforts were made to save the life before the father arrived. Remember it was at grandparents house, so no telling when the father got there. And just sone info, 14 Texas firefighters was buried last month alone trying to rescue peoples lives.

Pretty much this. He was willing to give his life to save his child, he damn sure is now willing to give his life to make right, in his mind, the injustice of not being allowed to do what was needed to save his child, even if it was a slim (or no) chance.

I will fully give you that. But for those that have the same info as you and I, that HAVE served in the military that show all of the military bravado that have listed that they would not have let him go in, they can go fuck themselves. I wouldn't care if it was just a complete inferno, I'd still go in because I could never live myself if I did otherwise. Do YOU have children? Could you just sit aside and not do it?

And yes, I have spoken to my wife along with my children, and they all agree, if there is at least one cause to die for, it would be to attempt to save a child/sibling.

Ya know, if it was a complete inferno, I'm sure I'd still try to go in, too. But in the grand scheme of things, if it really were a completely lost cause, I hope they would try their best to stop me. Still, don't tase me bro.
