You've got that way wrong. If no one cared, we'd be more different. Fads, trends, media hype - most everyone gets sucked in. We don't tight roll our jeans anymore. Chicks don't rock the huge hair. People don't still have light-up antennas on their cell phones. The majority of people who say they don't care what society thinks are saying that because they want people (society) to believe that about them, which means they really do care what society thinks. There's nothing as trendy as being a rebel who doesn't give a damn.
