    Power Tour fun

    Well since the Camaro crapped out on me, we jumped in the truck. I never had a chance to dyno it since I cammed it, so this morning we stuck it on the rollers for the hell of it. Couldn't do a proper 3rd gear pull because of the driveshaft, but still made 299.57 hp and 284 ft/trq out of my little 5.3 lol.

    Just got registered today. Hotel rooms are getting scarce, I waited a little late this year. If you're planning on going, I'd suggest making reservations right away. We're only going as far as Memphis.

      Why/how did the ds affect it?

        The driveshaft won't handle the RPM to make a 3rd gear pull, it rips a foot long section out of the middle of it if you get the wheel speed up too high, don't ask how I found that out! The driveshaft in the crew cabs is 82.5" long joint to joint, critical speed is only like 110 and redline in 3rd would be 130 or so.
