        If they don't cover it I'd just replace the board. I used to buy broken ones just like this off CL and fix them and resale them. Pretty easy to do. Just get the board # and you can get them off ebay or other sites for sub $100 almost all the time. I don't mind looking/helping with it if you get to that point.(I am not a tech or anything just done it a few times)

            Why buy a board. A capacitor is $1.XX.

              true, if you are good with solder and have the small tools its an easy fix that way. theres too many small things in there for me to mess with and I don't have the tools for it so was easier for me to replace the board. Usually they were about $65 for the boards so less work and still not too expensive.

                I fixed my plasma that had the exact same thing happen, it was a capacitor like everyone is saying, I bought two of them for 3 bucks. Pulled the old capacitor out and put the new one in, perfect fix.

                tv still works and the repair was 2 years ago
