I have a Samsung 50" Plasma that I bought new November 1, 2007. It was put on the wall and hasn't moved since then

We were just watching it and the pictures wen out and now won't come back in but we have sound

I've tested it by trying to change to other inputs but nothing shows in the screen. Not even the changing input notification

get that 80 in bad boy (forgot the brand now!), or the 65 in Samsung Smart 3D TV, that thing was fricken awesome!

It's old, you probably need more features anyways.

last time i talked about not spending money on electronics.. my 61" TV went pop.. the wife made the mistake of letting me go TV shopping alone.. ended up with a 82" lol...

Google and Youtube are your friends. Search your model for likely causes and it could be something simple to replace yourself like the main board. I'm no TV repair man but have found repairing late model TV's relatively simple and you can find powerboards and mainboards online generally under 50 bucks.

I have googled and youtubed and came across a very helpful video an I think this is my issue.

I found a class action lawsuit about this but I'm still trying to figure out if it means they will fix it or what.. .I hate reading legal crap

I have one of those models and it was built in oct/2007 according to a stamp on the inside

so number 1 saws they will pay for a service visit and to fix the TV
