Mythbusters might have busted the myth of increased gas mileage, but you'll sure save on tolls.
LOL that is fucking genius, I never even thought about that.

them fuckers are sneaky too. they will find you. they found me when i had paper tags on my car when i bought it a year ago. it took them about 4-5 months to find me.
between my wife and i, we spend about $120 of so a month.
We take that fucker from 20 to 114 (and then back) every day. It was golden for the first couple of months after it opened, but now it's a damn parking lot once you get to 30 headed North and in the afternoons until you pass 183. As much as I hate 360, we've been thinking about giving it another try. It's free, and clearly a lot of people have moved over to 161. We carpool, but the time is a bitch. Mansfield to Las Colinas to Grapevine and then back, it's an hour in the AM and a little over that in the PM.
Depends on what time you are going up 360. When I worked 3rds and got off at 0700, driving up 360 to get to Lewisville took me an hour and a half most mornings
True that. Ride the yellow line! Some of the cement barriers are pretty damn close though. Butt hole pucker!
It works like a charm. I never got a toll in a truck...
Of course I learn about this after I sell my truck.

get a toll tag and toss it in the door pocket for a few days. Your plate is tied to the tag, so they would theoretically charge it back to your tag when it doesnt scan, but it never seems to happen.

I'm glad that neither of us have to rely on a toll road (knock wood).
The area I used to live in CA had the 91 Toll lanes (not the whole frwy, just separated lanes like carpool). The price on that changes depending on the time of day and amount of congestion. During light traffic they were like $3, during heavy they were over $10. That is one way for only like 11 miles.
well its their roads so they charge what they want. noone forces you to run the tollway its just an option. how much is your time worth? its a ripoff but oh well
