You can't hardly go anywhere in the metroplex without jumping on some highway....

They are turning into parking lots slowly but surely. I-20 used to be wide open through S. Arlington, but no more. I-30 east from FTW has been bad nearly every time I've used it lately around 5 PM, and Airport Freeway goes without mention. I use a short stretch of the 161 toll road, and though it is relatively expensive it's been worth every penny to me in avoiding traffic aggravation and stop lights.

That's fine and dandy for you now, but wait until you're paying to sit in traffic. A lot of the toll roads sections already have horrible congestion problems.

Then I simply won't use those toll roads any more.

The section in Irving north of 183 gets that way as far as the congestion, but I rarely go there. The 161 toll road should have, in my opinion, have been constructed with at least three and preferably four main traffic lanes lanes instead of the measly two it has open in many sections.

not to mention, 190 WB between Jupiter road and pretty much 35 , runs slower than central expressway in the mornings, really fucking pisses me off. What the advantage.
            Vortex rear stand $75
            8.8 410s. $50

It's got room for at least 4 each way, but they aren't using that yet. I don't know why, other than maintenance? Seems dumb.

I'd like to see what the stop light time on the service roads are vs standard streets. It seems like they want to force you onto the toll road.

I have noticed the numbers on the service roads are dramatically increasing as well.

The ones on the 161 service roads south of 183 aren't too bad yet.

Pity the fools that drive into FTW via 35W or 30 from the west.

Everything in FTW is a cluster fuck. 183, 820. 121, 114, 35, 30, 20. I do like the lack of toll roads, however, it takes 3 hours to get anywhere.
