I had one blow up on me in 2002. I could have have done a day-surgery but screwed around and it ruptured really badly at home one morning while shaving. Tore through my abs so bad that the pain knocked me too me knees, literally. Emergency surgery that night, 14 staples and two day later, I was home. Shoulda, coulda, woulda.

I agree. Ureterolithiasis and renal colic. As long as it is less than 5mm he wont likely require lithotripsy. If you can deal with the pain and arent having fevers or chills or dysuria, then just stay home and drink lots of fluids until it passes. If it doesnt pass after a couple days, then go to the ER.

I had blood in my piss one, but that was because I slipped off of a loading dock (ice / snow) and back hit right on the edge on my way down. Had a black and blue bruise from my waist all the way to my shoulder blade on one side of my spine. That fucking sucked.

Well I am back from the ER, I was put on a IV & given Morphine for pain. Could live without the Morphine & would rather deal with the pain. I hate being dizzy. I am passing a kidney stone & have two more I have to pass. One is 5mm & the other is 7mm. I was given Lortab & Anitbiotics to take & drink lots of fluids

That 7 ain't gonna pass without a fight, if at all. Iirc your uretur only dilates to 5 or 6mm. I would contact a urologist.
