Well, a friend got a DWI last Friday.....

You know , I kept telling her and offering her a ride home and she would always refuse. Now the last thing I want to do is sit and argue with someone that I am trying to help. So I don't.

I will say when I left her at 4:00 pm Friday she was fine. But apparently by 9:00 pm she was shitfaced and tried to drive home. (I was no where around) Burleson's finest found her smashed into a parked car and politely gave her a room for the night. She blew a .18, which I guess is pretty high for a female, or anybody for that matter.

She went to see a lawyer and she may have to do some jail time after work and weekends, supposedly from what she blew. (.18)

Is it really mandatory to serve time on the first offense (after you get out) due to what you blew?

After driving this weekend with them at night I have no sympathy. one almost side swiped me sat night on 360. I dealt with these clowns all weekend because I had to work. Easy picking for the Cops after 2 am. Since she blew she is screwed.

She was more then likely charged with DWI with BAC over .15. That carries a class A misdemeanor. She might serve some time but more then likely AA classes, interlock, and community service.
