^that's a choice. Wheather you realize it or not, you make it quite often folks.

In our DNA? About as much as the draw to your favorite flavored donut. That's a fact, the rest of this faggotry is bullshit.

If someone is really worried about someone preaching "gay is cool" to their kids, then they are ridiculously paranoid. Reminds of the reefer madness bullshit.
Exactly. I seriously doubt the schools are telling kids that it is cool to be a peter puffer. Acceptance and tolerance is one thing, and =/= indoctrination. The messages taught in church- that is indoctrination.

        dont mistake tolerance for acceptance.

That is true, but it would be so incredibly rare for a recessive trait to be carried on for several thousands of years with no breeding within those that assert the recessive gene.

I'm more inclined to agree with that study I quoted earlier showing that the DNA can be altered after conception and possibly in the very womb causing the possible disposition towards homosexuality.

BTW, I simply consider this an academic discussion. Even as a Christian, I want us to love everyone as Christ did and taught us to do. I think a lot of the debate against homosexuals has been nothing more than an excuse to hate them. Most Christians may not be as bad as Westboro Baptist but that hate is definitely there and is not Christ like by any stretch.

I also regard it as a choice and sin equivalent to adultery. Even with a predisposition, you have the ability to make your own decisions.

But I don't want to drive homosexuals back into the closet. When asked why he spent his time with sinners, Christ said, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance."

You can't minister to someone when you're doing your best to never acknowledge, or worse, hate them.

Right on. Wish more Christians had such level heads.

If you're gay, you can't reproduce. Darwinism at its best. Genetic suicide.

Rick and I share the same views, however, he articulated it better than I tend to. Contrary to what some of you may think, I don't hate gays nor do I wish ill will towards them. I've stated that many times before and that's not going to change. As Christians, we're called to love all, but also have to call a sin a sin.

I recognize my stance isn't popular and is countercultural and in may cases people choose to dislike me for it, but I'm Ok with that and won't lose any sleep over their opinion/like or dislike of me.

Satisfying naysayers and proving your hypothesis is completely different. This site has done neither. Of course on a christian website they don't have to specify that the guy is christian. They wouldn't post his "studies" if he wasn't. Your stance is extremely popular so don't act like you're an outsider in this instance. Nobody dislikes you as a person because you believe differently than others anymore than they dislike a person because they're gay. At least gays don't constantly post bullshit articles by bullshit scientists on bullshit subjects without even doing a little research on the validity of it first.

                            See here's the thing.

How do you know what your favorite donut is? You have to taste it. How else would you know?
Did you try anal sex with another man to determine you did/didn't like it? Somehow I get the feeling you haven't. I'm guessing you just kinda "know" it's not for you.

My point of course being that you didn't "decide" you aren't gay. Now, are there people out there that have tried it, and decided they liked it? I'm sure there are some. I feel like there is more to it than a) born or b)society. My wife has a lifetime friend that has a 9 year old daughter that always tells her mom that she wants to be a boy. Haircut, mannerisms, attitude, clothing, everything. She was raised up to this point as mommas little princess and has never been told otherwise. My money is on lesbian, a 9 year old lesbian.
