I don't give a damn what any adult's sexual preference is, but I have a real problem with third graders being told it's fun/hip/cool to be gay. Choosing to live a gay lifestyle is one thing, but indoctrination is another. That's just my childless nutjob right-wing stance on it.Last edited by sc281; 05-28-2013, 11:05 AM.

Agreed, when preaching it to minors, there is a line that is crossed.
I am still like "WTF" over the whole boy scout thing. They are letting this happen but still keeping the boys and girls segregated?

Here is a study from 2012 about somatic mutations:
New research shows that identical twins do not share all of their DNA. They undergo hundreds of mutations during early fetal development. These mutations could multiply over the years. If the genetic differences between identical twins are significant, many traits and diseases thought to be a product of environmental factors could be in the genes.

Now, not to discredit your article, but this was on Psychology Today as opposed to Pastor Holland Davis's blog.

Of course it isn't mentioned. You don't see the people pushing for new gun laws citing the fact that gun violence has been on the decline for almost 2 decades, do you? What a ridiculous statement.

I recognize my stance isn't popular and is countercultural and in may cases people choose to dislike me for it, but I'm Ok with that and won't lose any sleep over their opinion/like or dislike of me.
Saved and Texan by the Grace of God, Redneck by choice.

Perhaps I am missing something. But, what does it matter how someone arrives at a personal choice? If I choose to like the color red, does it matter whether or not I was born to like the color or I chose to like it based on my own reasoning?
My guess is this somehow correlates to the argument that those who are gay are making an informed decision to hate God, because if they were "born Gay" than that could be argued as God's will?
