Why would someone choose to be gay, unless they were attracted to someone? At that point, it would seem the only choice was that they acted on how they felt emotionally...

I found the combination of the last two sentences and your thread title a very funny combination.

If anything, the twin example shows that sexual preference is not determined by DNA. So? People take it too literally if they hear "born gay" and equate that to it being part of DNA. I think some younger people choose to be gay for various reasons (many of them very stupid reasons), and a lot of those people change their mind eventually. I also think there are a lot of gays who honestly don't have a real control over who they find attractive. The latter considering themselves "born gay". Again, not defined by DNA, but still an undeniable part of who they are with or without logic or reasoning and not part of a decision they made, other than the decision to stop fighting it.

Twins are not genetically identical, therefore the research makes no sense.

If its a choice or not I dont care. Its their life, they wanna be gay, then leave them alone. I went to boston to my ol lady's gay uncles wedding. I couldnt have been happier for them.

There are instances of one twin with autism and the other neurotypical. Does that make autism a choice?

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

Who would CHOOSE to be gay? Living a childhood being hated and bullied. Seems like a pretty stupid choice to me. There's more to it.

Bryan, have a link for this article?

                                Um, look up.
Good judgment comes from bad decisions and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.
