question for the married guys

i do not wear it at work but usually on the weekends and sometimes at night. Working on cars all day isn't the best occupation for hand jewlery of any sort. I think that wearing it like I do is a good compromise. Every now and then she will ask me if I'm married or not, jokingly asking if I'm wearing it.

When I was painting, I didnt wear it, but now that I'm a office bitch, I wear it all the time.

Not married yet...but next year when we do, I probably wont wear one. I work in a hospital and wash my hands after every patient. I dont need all sorts of nasty crap like MRSA mixed in with a wedding ring.

Get over it and show your respect to your future wife. After awhile, you won't even feel it on your hand anymore. The only time I take mine off is during BJJ/MMA practice and training. Then it goes right back on.

If you have any issue with it at all, perhaps you should reconsider getting married as you might not be ready for it yet. Save yourself a headache down the road.

I totally understand. I was in the same situation. Even today I don't wear a watch or any jewelry.

But I wear my wedding ring every single day.

It will only bother you for a week or two then it seems normal. It bothers me once in a blue moon but not enough to care to take it off. I only take it off when working on machinery that it could get caught on.

In other words, wear the F'ing ring...

my grandfather was married for 60yrs and never wore a ring.
