That place is a damn mess right now! My toll bill has went up significantly these last 6 months or so. I will take George Bush anytime I get instead of going 635.

I saw yesterday that they are talking about taking the 4 lanes of 635 and reducing them to 3 lanes to add a shoulder. As it sits now, if you fuck up or break down there is no margin for error and no place to go. It brings traffic to a halt. I got stuck for 45 minutes Monday afternoon at 2!

I wonder about all the toll roads and how they're funded. I'm probably wrong, and I hope I am, but I'm guessing they use our tax dollars to build the toll roads, then charge us to drive on them?

I avoid 635 at all costs anyways... And on the bike the way my license plate is mounted the cameras cannot see it but it is perfectly visible from behind for anyone to read. Should a camera catch a glimpse I have a toll tag, but I'm not getting charged as it sits.

Moral of the story, get a bike, get 40+MPG, tons more fun, and free tolls.
