It's not really "phantom" pain, considering how jacked up my leg is, but 5 years later it still aches pretty substantially. Both along the external scars, and in the ankle and knee joints themselves.

My dad had a running bet that I was going to cut this finger off at some point, it seems like if I ever get cut, it's on that finger, and I have a couple of decent looking scars on it.

Am I alone, or does anyone else get these phantom pains on old injuries?
Did you speak too soon? lol

Dislocated ankle gives me nightmares in rain storms (that motherfucker is screaming right now!).

Formerly broken L5 that slips out of place. I can work it back in and when it goes it feels like a dislocated shoulder going back in with similar relief.
That sucks. My lasik went pretty damn good. 20/20 in both eyes and the only real side effect is the floaters, but I only really notice them if it is really bright outside, and only sometimes. I see starbursts at night, but then I saw them when I wore glasses, they just werent quite as previlant.

Most of my scars are from small deep cuts, nothing too crazy. Now my left elbow, which I broke when I was younger(3rd grade), sounds like a ratchet when I lift anything and also doesn't straighten out all the way. It also goes numb/weak from time to time.

I'd like to thank the USAF doctor that didn't know it was broken until after it was most of the way healed.

I have a good number of smaller scars in various places, but none that itch / burn / hurt.

The scar on my forehead does some odd stuff. If you run something across it, I can feel it in the back of my head and it causes some weird cold chills

I took a firework to the left eye. I can still see 20/20 but at night I can't see that well with it and sometimes hurts.

I have one between my breasts that damn near throws me into a panic attack when it's touched. I'm pretty sure it's more psychological than anything, though. The one on my face will ache and burn a times, but doesn't get nearly the same reaction to touch.

Did you get stabbed or have surgery between those two Titanic's?
