It's not really "phantom" pain, considering how jacked up my leg is, but 5 years later it still aches pretty substantially. Both along the external scars, and in the ankle and knee joints themselves.

I have several on my left index finger, and occasionally one of them starts burning and feels like I have a paper cut or a splinter. I can't ever see anything that looks unusual or any swelling or redness. I assume it is due to a nerve ending cut or something. One of them just started to burn, and it made me think about it.
My dad had a running bet that I was going to cut this finger off at some point, it seems like if I ever get cut, it's on that finger, and I have a couple of decent looking scars on it.
Am I alone, or does anyone else get these phantom pains on old injuries?

Dislocated ankle gives me nightmares in rain storms (that motherfucker is screaming right now!).
Formerly broken L5 that slips out of place. I can work it back in and when it goes it feels like a dislocated shoulder going back in with similar relief.I don't like Republicans, but I really FUCKING hate Democrats.

Most of my scars are from small deep cuts, nothing too crazy. Now my left elbow, which I broke when I was younger(3rd grade), sounds like a ratchet when I lift anything and also doesn't straighten out all the way. It also goes numb/weak from time to time.
I'd like to thank the USAF doctor that didn't know it was broken until after it was most of the way healed..
