My company almost got into the business on a joint project with Dupont. They went forward with the product using several of our products, but we backed out. We also work with a few other companies that sell proprietary storm shelter items, and I'm familiar with the FEMA prescriptive plan as well. They work and have undergone serious testing. I wish my house had one.

I believe my wife was looking at options in the $10 - $12k range. Then again, it was my wife talking so I wasn't really paying that much attention.

All ok at my house. The neighborhood I moved out of late last year was leveled. I'm waiting to confirm but I believe my fathers place is gone as well..
The school children are trapped in is where my son is supposed to start Pre K in August.
I believe several of my good friends have lost their houses as well. I can't get to the area to check anything.

I left work when the storm was developing and tried to get home, my wife and son were in a shelter. I ran into the back side of the storm and stuck behind storm chasers.
