  • A good friend's cousin lost their home and business. Another cousin of hers lost her house as well.

So sad to see the OK people posting names of kids who can't find their parents, and vice versa

          • It was just confirmed 91 deaths so far and more expected. CNN confirmed it from the ME's office and KFOR just reported it live.

Sometimes days like today I look at god, and ask why did you take those kids? What's your answer. Btw sorry if that offends anyone on here, it's just my thought.

                  • It's like, fuck kill me instead of those kids. I hate hearing about a young life taken away. I wouldn't know what to say or tell these parents that have lost that. You can replace and rebuild a house, but you can't replace a child. (Btw I've had a few at the casa)

That is absolutely horrible. I can't believe they were designed like that. Poor kids, my heart breaks for the living.

I can't imagine being a first responder and trying to make it through that.

A total of 24 kids were in the main hall like they were instructed to do. The roof collapsed then the water lines broke and they drowned from being pinned under the roof.

                        • Fuck!

After my last post I decided to find a way to check out my dads place, it took on some damage, but the tornado basically moved across the street and just missed leveling his home. I parked in my neighborhood and made it through the impact zone to his place. The damage I saw was devastating! There was a dollar general store that I couldn't even identify anymore, houses leveled, metal electric poles laying across streets, and hundreds of people walked out of the area with nothing but their animals and the few belongings they could find.
I drive that road almost daily, you literally cannot find any of the things you were used to seeing along the main road.
Out of respect for the people that were walking out with nothing, I did not take any pictures along the way.
I had three friends lose everything they own..

RIP to everyone that was lost in this storm.

This is one of the most well prepared areas when it comes to tornados.. This thing formed and dropped so fast there was very little time to react.

That sucks man, glad your friends are okay and your dad is okay. But I can't say anything to feel and understand what you've seen today.

That is just a nightmare scenario. So incredibly sad. I'm sure people are going to say there is blame to lay somewhere but really.....how can you truly prepare such a large area with so many buildings and structures for a 2 mile wide tornado with 250+ mph winds? There's only so much you can do in that situation.
