I really wish I could remember the one that changed my opinion of you - but I can't.
Another one that has figured Matt out.

His outrage at criminals is shouted from the rooftops. His outrage when one of those criminals wears a badge is not even as loud as a mouse farting.

And yet you sit on the sidelines and watch.....

And refuse to acknowledge when I criticize or condemn bad policing, or criminals with a badge.

Ya know, sometimes I wonder why you are so eager to jump on the FTP Matt bandwagon. I get Arnold and Mr. Cooper, but you I quite haven't figured out the reason why.....

You're the only one that needs a link, the rest of us don't need to reread your drivel to remember what happened. Deny deny deny. You've spent so much time around criminals you're starting to gain their characteristics. Would you like a forum lawyer?

Of course you do, no need to state the obvious.

So there is no proof, and we are to believe your alcoholic memory?

              Gotcha!

Lol, I have a reputation for remembering everything, and you have a reputation of being a blowhard douchebag. Both of those reputations have been earned over the course of a decade, so go ahead and lay out your argument against them. Maybe your new buddy Rodney can help you out.

To Matt's defense, I have seen him say that the actions a cop took was wrong, so he doesn't always back up the blue. To his detriment, he has stood up for things that are wrong as well, citing policy as justification.

                  • Fyi, it was around page 3 or 4 of the "No Front Plate Ticket?" thread from December of 2011:

I got one of these and have a court date set up for it, what are the chances of getting this dismissed? I had my plate with me at the time but it was on my floor board, cop also issued me a speeding ticket at the time but I was too pissed to acknowledge the plate shit he put on there.

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

Usually reminds me of "What about all the GOOD things Hitler did?".

Your reputation is greatly blown out of proportion.

I recall a post you made where you said you use the search function quite often. I'm of the belief your memory isn't great, but just appears to be when you have the luxury of time and the search function...

It really isn't that hard, sorry to deflate your ego.

But when I ask to provide proof, you forget all about that function.

                          What a coincidence!

                          You're just a little wus.

If policy is for the moral good, then I have no problem getting behind it.

                              Example.....

Trinity park has installed signs warning people to stay off the levy. People have been bringing cardboard to the park for years to slide down the levy. You can find kids out there any given day.

Several months ago I was approached by a city park worker and asked to write people (kids and parents) tickets for sliding down the levy. The act of sliding kills the grass and allows for erosion. The park department is trying to preserve the levy, and the signs aren't really a deterrent.

There's no way I'm going to write a parent a ticket for their kids sliding down the levy. I will ask them to stop, but I won't cite them for it. You can do an FOI request for any tickets written for this and see for yourself if you don't believe me.
